The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Hassan Shaker Magdy, announced on Saturday, 12 September 2026, that the University has achieved an unprecedented digital and academic milestone by ranking first among all Iraqi private universities and securing fourth place among all public and private universities in Iraq in the EduIndex.ai MENA Ranking. The index is a globally specialized platform that measures the visibility and influence of higher education institutions across generative artificial intelligence platforms and large language models. According to the official results released by EduIndex.ai, which is owned and operated by the British media company Anything is Possible, Al-Mustaqbal University ranked 169th regionally with an overall score of 55.3 points. This distinguished achievement was driven by the University’s strong performance across the index’s key indicators, earning a perfect score of 60 points in LLM Readiness, 41 points in Perceptions, and 78.3 points in Traffic. These outstanding results enabled Al-Mustaqbal University to secure a leading position nationally, ranking directly behind the University of Baghdad, Al-Mustansiriyah University, and Tishk International University, while surpassing more than eighty Iraqi public and private universities and colleges included in the assessment. In an official statement, Prof. Hassan Shaker Magdy emphasized that this accomplishment reflects the University’s proactive strategic vision toward embracing emerging digital technologies and advancing beyond traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices to the implementation of Large Language Model Optimization (LLMO) strategies. These efforts aim to ensure that artificial intelligence platforms, including ChatGPT and Gemini, are supplied with accurate and reliable academic and research information about the University.
