The College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the awareness event organized by the university on the occasion of the International Day of Clean Air, in accordance with the directives of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rodhan Salman. The event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining air quality and to highlight the dangers of air pollution and its impacts on human health and the environment.
The college’s participation affirms its commitment to environmental and awareness activities, and its support for initiatives that contribute to promoting a culture of sustainability among students, faculty members, and staff. It also encourages behaviors that help reduce pollution and preserve the environment.
The event was attended by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, along with a number of department and division heads, staff members, and students. It included an awareness activity held in the university gardens, which addressed the importance of clean air and its impact on human health and quality of life, as well as the most prominent environmental and climate issues related to air pollution.
The event also highlighted several practices that can contribute to reducing pollution, including increasing green spaces, promoting eco-friendly transportation, improving waste treatment methods, and continuing awareness programs that enhance environmental responsibility among students and university staff.
The participation of the College of Education comes within the framework of its efforts to support Al-Mustaqbal University’s directions in the fields of sustainability and sustainable development, and to enhance awareness of environmental and climate issues, thereby contributing to a healthier and more sustainable university environment.
