As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to expand its network of academic and scientific partnerships and strengthen its role in university collaboration, and under the direction of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, a delegation from Al-Mustaqbal University visited the American University of Baghdad in response to an official invitation to explore opportunities for joint cooperation and establish new pathways toward a sustainable academic and scientific partnership between the two institutions.
The delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and included a number of directors of departments and centers at the University Presidency. The delegation was received by Mr. Ziad Shaaban, CEO of the Center of Excellence for Creativity and Development, and Prof. Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Mahmoud, Consulting Expert, along with a number of officials and academics.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al-Zuhairi delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the academic and scientific development of Al-Mustaqbal University and its journey of growth. He reviewed its key achievements in scientific research, local and international rankings, and global academic partnerships, as well as its future vision for developing the educational and research environment and strengthening engagement with leading academic institutions.
For its part, the American University of Baghdad presented an overview of its vision, academic programs, and educational experience. This was followed by an extensive discussion on areas of mutual interest, particularly in the academic, scientific, and research fields, with the aim of exchanging expertise and knowledge and creating valuable opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty members.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue communication and coordination to further explore areas of cooperation and finalize the framework of the partnership, paving the way for the implementation of joint programs and initiatives that enhance academic and research integration and establish a sustainable partnership with a tangible impact on the development of education, scientific research, and community service.
