President of Al-Mustaqbal University Explores Advanced Artificial Intelligence and Technology Research at Bristol Robotics Laboratory

Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a field tour of the Bristol Robotics Laboratory (BRL) at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), to explore the latest research and advanced technologies developed by researchers and postgraduate students in collaboration with leading global institutions and companies. The tour included an overview of applications of assistive robotics, healthcare technologies, and smart living solutions, particularly those designed to support older adults, as well as autonomous vehicle and independent systems projects implemented in cooperation with the industrial sector. The tour also covered advanced and smart manufacturing research using industrial robotic arms, in addition to artificial intelligence and human-robot interaction projects involving quadruped and interactive humanoid robots, highlighting the role of AI in sensing and autonomous movement. The University President emphasized the importance of engaging with leading global research centers to facilitate knowledge transfer and localize advanced technologies, contributing to the development of the research environment and providing advanced scientific opportunities for postgraduate students and researchers at Al-Mustaqbal University.
