The College of Science held a coordination meeting for Activities and Sustainability Coordinators, attended by the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, to follow up on work plans and coordinate efforts related to activities, programmes, and initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability within the university environment. The meeting addressed several key areas related to the development of student activities and sustainability initiatives, in addition to discussing mechanisms for implementing future programmes in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enhancing students’ active participation in scientific, cultural, and community-oriented activities. The Dean emphasized the importance of integrated teamwork and coordinated efforts in promoting sustainable practices, developing impactful initiatives, and strengthening the College’s role in supporting the University’s vision of academic excellence and social responsibility. This meeting is part of the College of Science’s ongoing efforts to develop its activities and sustainability framework, foster a more engaged university environment, and keep pace with contemporary approaches to higher education and sustainable development.
