Al-Mustaqbal University continued its outstanding presence and distinguished participation in the 27th edition of the Baghdad International Book Fair through its role as the Golden Sponsor of the event. The University Pavilion witnessed significant attendance and continued interaction for the second consecutive day, reflecting the University’s active presence in both the academic and cultural spheres. The University’s participation demonstrated its commitment to supporting cultural and knowledge-based activities in Iraq and reaffirming the importance of books and reading in developing individuals and raising awareness. It also highlighted the role of universities in strengthening communication with society and contributing to the enrichment of cultural and intellectual life. The University Pavilion attracted visitors from diverse backgrounds through its scientific, cultural, and educational content, showcasing its academic journey and achievements in education, scientific research, innovation, and sustainable development. It also provided an opportunity for direct interaction with visitors and introduced them to the University’s academic vision and mission. The University’s Golden Sponsorship of the fair further reflected its approach to supporting national initiatives that bring together science, culture, and knowledge, while strengthening its presence at events that contribute to building a knowledge-based society capable of keeping pace with developments and supporting innovation towards a more sustainable future. This participation aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The Baghdad International Book Fair will continue until 12 September 2026 at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds in Al-Mansour – Baghdad Hall, with broad participation from publishing houses, cultural and academic institutions, ministries, and organizations.
