Signed Al-Mustaqbal University a cooperation agreement with Aqd Gate Company for Training, Qualification, and Employment of the Iraqi Workforce, as part of its efforts to expand partnerships with private-sector institutions and strengthen alignment between university education and labor market requirements. The agreement aims to develop the capabilities of students and graduates and enhance their professional readiness. The agreement provides for cooperation in organizing training programs that combine academic and practical components, in addition to specialized workshops and joint seminars. These activities are designed to develop students’ and graduates’ professional and soft skills, prepare them to meet the requirements of the modern workplace, and broaden their access to suitable career and employment opportunities. Representing Al-Mustaqbal University at the signing ceremony was Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, in the presence of Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of the Department of Cultural and International Relations, and Prof. Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division. Representing Aqd Gate Company was Ms. Jinan Adel Makki, Managing Director, in the presence of Mr. Mustafa Jalil, Director of Research and Development, and Mr. Mohammed Saad from the Media Department. Comes this partnership within Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of establishing effective channels with the business sector and strengthening the transition from theoretical knowledge to practical experience. This contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of its graduates and providing them with broader opportunities to develop their professional careers. The agreement also supports the preparation of qualified graduates equipped with integrated scientific and practical skills, capable of responding to labor market changes and contributing effectively to development and community service. It is also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
