The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Mustaqbal University held a specialized workshop entitled “Instructions and Mechanisms for University Performance Evaluation” on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The workshop was attended by a number of department heads, quality assurance officers, academic staff, and other concerned personnel, with the aim of raising awareness of the updated ministerial instructions and standardizing their implementation mechanisms. The workshop was organized as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to consolidating a culture of quality and institutional excellence and developing the university performance system according to scientific and systematic approaches that contribute to enhancing institutional efficiency and achieving continuous improvement. The workshop addressed the key ministerial instructions and regulations governing the performance evaluation of university personnel for the academic year 2025–2026. It also included a review of the updated ministerial evaluation forms and an explanation of the mechanisms and procedures for their implementation, ensuring accuracy and objectivity in the evaluation process while strengthening the principles of fairness and transparency in assessing university performance. The workshop was presented by Dr. Riyadh Hamid Salman, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, and Ms. Zainab Latif Wahab, Head of the Institutional Performance Evaluation Division. They provided a detailed explanation of the evaluation criteria, requirements, and mechanisms for implementing the updated forms, while highlighting the latest developments and addressing participants’ questions and observations. The workshop was also attended by Prof. Dr. Younis Abdul Ridha Al-Khafaji, Head of the Department of Industrial College Technologies, and Dr. Taqi Hazim Abdullah, Lecturer, alongside a number of department heads, quality assurance officers, and academic staff. The active engagement of the participants reflected the academic and administrative staff’s commitment to improving performance and adhering to approved quality standards. The workshop emphasized the importance of establishing a unified institutional understanding of the instructions and evaluation mechanisms, contributing to the development of a more efficient and effective performance system and enhancing the university’s ability to identify strengths and determine opportunities for improvement and development. This workshop forms part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to support academic and administrative quality, develop the capabilities of its personnel, and consolidate a culture of continuous improvement, thereby strengthening its pursuit of institutional excellence and enhancing its academic standing both locally and internationally.
