Al-Mustaqbal University opened the second week of the third level of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Course on Sunday, August 30, 2026. The course is organized by the Continuing Education Center and is being held in the Student Activities Hall at the University. The opening session was attended by Prof. Dr. Wael Jabbar Abdul-Nadawi, Director of the Continuing Education Center, who emphasized the importance of adhering to lecture schedules and making the most of the scientific content presented in both its theoretical and practical aspects. He noted that this contributes to enhancing participants’ knowledge and developing their skills in using modern artificial intelligence applications. The Center Director explained that artificial intelligence has become an essential tool across various fields of work, particularly within educational, academic, and administrative institutions. This is due to its advanced capabilities in completing tasks, analyzing data, and preparing reports with greater accuracy, comprehensiveness, and professionalism. He also stressed the importance of applying the knowledge and skills acquired during the course in practical contexts that contribute to improving performance efficiency and developing the work environment. This aligns with the University’s commitment to keeping pace with technological advancements and strengthening capacity building in the field of artificial intelligence. The program will conclude with an assessment for the participants to measure their level of benefit from the scientific material and evaluate the progress they have made in their knowledge and skills related to artificial intelligence and its modern applications. This aims to ensure the achievement of the course’s academic and training objectives. The organization of these courses is part of the Continuing Education Center’s efforts at Al-Mustaqbal University to promote digital literacy and raise awareness of artificial intelligence technologies, while also preparing academic and administrative staff and students to keep pace with technological developments and the evolving requirements of the labor market. These efforts support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education and SDG 8 on Decent Work and Economic Growth. Al-Mustaqbal University continues its efforts to develop digital skills and build capacities, thereby enhancing the readiness of its staff and students to meet the demands of the future.
