The English Department at the College of Education held an extensive preparatory meeting chaired by the Head of the Department, Dr. Salam Hassan Maki, and attended by members of the teaching staff, as part of the early preparations for the commencement of the new academic year 2026–2027. The meeting addressed several important academic and administrative matters related to the organisation and preparation of the Department for the upcoming academic year. Discussions included the distribution of teaching subjects among faculty members, as well as the formation of departmental committees and the identification of their respective duties and responsibilities. The meeting also covered a range of issues concerning the requirements of the upcoming academic year and the necessary preparations to ensure the Department's readiness. Participants exchanged views and proposals aimed at enhancing academic performance and providing an appropriate educational environment for students. The attendees emphasised the importance of cooperation and teamwork in completing all necessary preparations and ensuring the full readiness of the Department for the new academic year, in line with the College's objectives and its commitment to advancing the educational and academic process.
