Al-Mustaqbal University visited the Iraqi Cultural Attaché Office in the United Kingdom, with an official delegation headed by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, accompanied by Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, and attended by a number of student trainees. The delegation was received by Cultural Attaché Professor Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi. The visit focused on reviewing the international training experience of Al-Mustaqbal University students at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), as well as discussing opportunities to further develop international academic cooperation. The Cultural Attaché praised the initiative, describing it as the first of its kind among Iraqi universities in terms of providing undergraduate students with international training in the United Kingdom on this scale, following the participation of 14 students from the College of Engineering Technologies. The students also undertook advanced scientific training at the Artificial Intelligence Applications Centre at UWE Bristol, which ranks first in the United Kingdom in this field. The visit was part of Al-Mustaqbal University's strategy to strengthen international academic partnerships, develop students' modern technical skills, and prepare highly qualified graduates in accordance with international standards. It also seeks to expand opportunities for students to engage with advanced global research and technological environments, contributing to improving educational outcomes and supporting innovation and digital transformation. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 on Quality Education, SDG 9 on Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals.
