The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded administrative meeting to follow up on the university’s readiness and compliance with the requirements of the Ministerial Committee for Education and Program Establishment. The meeting was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, along with several directors of relevant administrative and technical departments and units, including the Diwan Affairs Department, Projects and Reconstruction Department, Legal Affairs Department, Human Resources Department, and the Secretariat of the University Council. The meeting included a comprehensive review of the work requirements and procedures necessary to ensure the completion of all required preparations in accordance with approved standards and regulations. Discussions addressed the readiness of infrastructure, classrooms, laboratories, and technical, engineering, and logistical facilities in line with the university’s plans for academic expansion and the establishment of new academic programs and specializations. The meeting also addressed human resources, including follow-up on teaching and administrative staff, completion of recruitment and academic qualification requirements, and discussion of the legal aspects, regulations, and instructions governing the establishment of new academic programs. In addition, the meeting reviewed the provision of the necessary requirements and support services for the educational process and students. The President of the University emphasized the importance of integrating efforts among all administrative and technical formations and working as one team to complete the assigned requirements and tasks with accuracy and efficiency, within the specified timelines. This, he noted, would enhance the university’s readiness and reinforce institutional and academic quality standards. The meeting comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to continuously developing its educational and administrative systems and strengthening its readiness to meet the requirements of higher education, supporting its path toward sustainable academic expansion and advancing the quality of its academic and service performance.
