President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded administrative meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, to follow up on the University’s readiness and completion of the requirements of the Ministerial Committee for Education and Academic Program Establishment. The meeting was attended by Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, along with directors of the relevant administrative and technical departments and units.
Representatives from the Office Affairs Department, Projects and Reconstruction Department, Legal Department, Human Resources Department, and the Secretariat of the University Council also participated in the meeting. The attendees reviewed and discussed the procedures required to complete the institutional, technical, and administrative requirements in accordance with approved regulations and standards.
The meeting addressed several key areas, foremost among them the readiness of infrastructure and technical facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, logistical equipment, and engineering facilities, in line with the requirements of academic expansion and the establishment of new academic programs and specializations.
The meeting also addressed human resource requirements and academic and administrative staffing, as well as employment and academic qualification plans, in accordance with approved standards and regulations. In addition, the participants discussed completing legal and student affairs requirements and providing the necessary services and support facilities for students.
Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi emphasized the importance of integrating the efforts of all administrative and technical units and working as one team to complete the required tasks accurately and within the specified timelines. He also stressed the need to adhere to approved academic and administrative standards in order to enhance institutional performance and quality.
The University President noted that completing the requirements of the Ministerial Committee for Education and Academic Program Establishment represents an important step in supporting the University’s plans for academic and scientific expansion, continuing the development of its institutional infrastructure, and strengthening its ability to provide an integrated educational and research environment that meets students’ needs and labor market requirements.
