President of Al-Mustaqbal University Reviews the Performance of the Continuing Education Center and Highlights Its Role in Skills Development

As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to monitoring the performance of its academic and training centers and enhancing the quality of their programs, University President Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid conducted a field visit to the Continuing Education Center to review its ongoing programs and activities during the summer break. Prof. Dr. Wael Al-Nadawi, Director of the Continuing Education Center, welcomed the University President. During the visit, he presented an overview of the center’s current educational and training activities, particularly the summer courses designed for students, in addition to professional development programs for university staff and specialized courses in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and modern professional skills. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid emphasized that the Continuing Education Center plays an important role in supporting academic and professional development at the university. He highlighted the importance of making effective use of the summer break by providing programs that develop participants’ skills and enhance their readiness to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. He also stressed the need to continuously update training programs and introduce high-quality courses that keep pace with rapid scientific and technological developments, particularly in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence. Such efforts contribute to promoting a culture of lifelong learning and preparing qualified individuals with the skills required for the future. For his part, Prof. Dr. Wael Al-Nadawi reviewed the implementation of the center’s current programs, as well as its future plans, which include expanding the range of training courses and introducing new specialized programs that respond to the needs of students, university staff, and the wider community. These initiatives are designed to align with ongoing developments in knowledge and technology. The visit comes as part of the University Presidency’s ongoing field-based approach to monitoring the performance of its academic institutions and centers, identifying their needs, and providing the necessary support for the development of their programs. This approach contributes to creating a dynamic educational and training environment while strengthening the university’s commitment to digital transformation and improving the quality of its educational outcomes.
