President of Al-Mustaqbal University Commends the Anesthesia Techniques Department for Achieving National Programmatic Accreditation

The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, received the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, along with the teaching and administrative staff of the Anesthesia Techniques Department, on the occasion of the department’s Bachelor’s program obtaining national programmatic accreditation. This achievement was granted pursuant to Ministerial Order No. (84122-1305), dated July 29, 2026, issued by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation, based on the minutes of the fifth session of the National Council for the Accreditation of Programs of Colleges and Institutes of Health and Medical Technologies. During the meeting, the University President commended the outstanding efforts made by the teaching and administrative staff of the department and college, emphasizing that the program’s national programmatic accreditation represents the outcome of integrated academic and institutional efforts and reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to quality assurance and academic accreditation standards. He further emphasized that this achievement reflects the University’s commitment to developing its educational programs and curricula, enhancing the educational environment, and upgrading laboratories and infrastructure, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified healthcare professionals in accordance with recognized standards and professional practices. The University President also directed that efforts continue to fulfill the requirements of the next stage and maintain the achieved quality standards, stressing that programmatic accreditation is an ongoing process of evaluation, improvement, and development. He called on other academic departments to benefit from the experience of the Anesthesia Techniques Department and pursue programmatic accreditation. At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President presented letters of appreciation to the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies and the staff of the Anesthesia Techniques Department in recognition of their efforts and contribution to achieving this academic accomplishment. For her part, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the University Presidency for its continued support, affirming that this achievement was the result of collective efforts and cooperation among the teaching and administrative staff and the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department.
