President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, welcomed Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji, Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Babil Branch, in the presence of members of the University Council, to discuss opportunities for expanding cooperation and strengthening institutional partnership in support of academic talent and higher education in the governorate. At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji extended his congratulations to the University President and the University Council on Al-Mustaqbal University receiving an **Erasmus+ programme grant**. He expressed his appreciation for the university’s scientific and academic achievements and its active presence at both the national and international levels. The meeting addressed several areas aimed at developing institutional cooperation between the two sides, including the nomination of representatives of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate within the university’s colleges and academic facilities. Discussions also focused on activating the syndicate’s role in announcing employment opportunities available to holders of higher academic degrees, thereby supporting academic talent and creating new professional opportunities. Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous coordination and communication between academic and professional institutions and developing joint initiatives that support teaching staff, researchers, and holders of higher academic degrees, while strengthening the contribution of educational institutions to community development in Babil Governorate. At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Khafaji praised Al-Mustaqbal University’s progressive academic journey, noting that its successive achievements reflect its forward-looking vision and commitment to academic excellence, further strengthening its position on the national and international educational landscape.
