The University of Al-Mustaqbal honored the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Haleem Al-Qaim, along with the academic and administrative staff of the Anesthesia Techniques Department, in recognition of their academic and professional efforts that contributed to the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Anesthesia Techniques obtaining National Program Accreditation. This achievement reflects the University’s commitment to applying quality and academic accreditation standards and enhancing the quality of its academic programs.
The accreditation was granted pursuant to Ministerial Order No. (84122-1305), issued on July 29, 2026, by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation, based on the minutes of the fifth session of the National Council for the Accreditation of Programs of Colleges and Institutes of Health and Medical Technologies.
The accreditation of the Anesthesia Techniques Program represents the outcome of integrated institutional efforts involving the College Dean’s Office, the academic department, and its academic and administrative staff, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department. These efforts focused on fulfilling accreditation requirements and continuously developing various aspects of the educational process.
This achievement reflects the progress made by the program in the areas of educational quality, academic environment, curriculum development, and the enhancement of practical and clinical training, in line with the requirements of the Anesthesia Techniques specialization and the needs of healthcare institutions.
Program accreditation also represents an important stage in the continuous quality improvement process. Maintaining accreditation requirements requires ongoing evaluation, review, and development, in addition to updating curricula, laboratories, and infrastructure, while strengthening practical and clinical training. These measures contribute to improving the competencies of program graduates and preparing qualified professionals equipped with the scientific knowledge and practical skills required in the healthcare sector.
The Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies emphasized that this achievement was the result of collective efforts and effective cooperation among all relevant stakeholders. She also affirmed the College’s commitment to strengthening the culture of quality and academic accreditation and to benefiting from the experience of the Anesthesia Techniques Department in developing its other academic programs.
In recognition of the efforts made to achieve this academic milestone, Certificates of Appreciation and Letters of Commendation were presented to the Dean of the College and the staff of the Anesthesia Techniques Department, in acknowledgment of their contributions to fulfilling the accreditation requirements and achieving this accomplishment.
The program’s attainment of National Program Accreditation further demonstrates the University of Al-Mustaqbal’s commitment to developing its educational system in accordance with academic quality standards and enhancing the quality of health and medical education programs. This commitment is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 4: Quality Education.
