Al-Mustaqbal University students continue their efforts to serve visitors during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) through their participation in the university’s medical unit, which provides healthcare services and first aid to pilgrims, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Babylon Health Directorate.
The students provide medical and health support around the clock as part of field teams working continuously to meet pilgrims’ needs and respond to cases requiring first aid and medical care, amid the large numbers of visitors arriving to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
This participation highlights the students’ practical role in serving the community, giving them the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge and skills in real-life field settings, while gaining valuable experience in teamwork and dealing with various health-related situations.
The initiative also reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to encouraging its students to take part in humanitarian and community activities and promoting a culture of volunteering and initiative. This aligns with the university’s vision of preparing students who combine academic excellence with a strong sense of social responsibility
