At the National University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship (NURAI 2026), second-year student Noor Al-Huda Ahmed Rahim from the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences, College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University, achieved a distinguished accomplishment after receiving a Certificate of Appreciation from the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Affairs and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee. The recognition came in appreciation of her active contribution as a member of the Nullpoint Team in developing the Petro-Serpent X project, an intelligent robot that mimics snake-like movement to inspect oil and gas pipelines internally and monitor them in real time using Digital Twin technology. The project was developed under the supervision of Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Abdul-Kareem, reflecting the level of creativity and innovation demonstrated by the students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences in technological and engineering fields.
