Yousif Haider Hassan, a second-year student in the Artificial Intelligence Sciences Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, achieved a distinguished national accomplishment by receiving a Certificate of Appreciation signed by Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Dahad, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Affairs and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee, as part of the NURAI 2026 National University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship. This achievement came as a result of his active participation as a member of the Nullpoint Team, contributing to the development and presentation of the advanced technical research project: Petro-Serpent X The innovative project aims to develop a snake-inspired robot equipped with Artificial Intelligence technologies to inspect oil and gas pipelines internally, detect potential defects and problems, and monitor them using Digital Twin technology in real time. The achievement was accomplished under the supervision of Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Abdul-Kareem, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Sciences Department and faculty member at the university, who provided scientific guidance and support to the team, helping transform the research idea into a practical and developable technological project.
