As part of its commitment to monitoring the implementation of the summer training program, the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a field visit to students undergoing training at Al-Hindiya Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Karbala Health Directorate. The visit was carried out by the summer training coordinators, Mr. Zaid Fadhel Rasool and Mr. Ali Qasim Jawad, to evaluate the progress of the training program and monitor students’ performance and commitment. The visit included observing the practical aspects of the training, where students received hands-on instruction in intravenous cannulation, the preparation and dilution of anesthetic medications, dosage calculations, and both mechanical and spontaneous ventilation techniques. These activities are designed to enhance students’ clinical competencies and prepare them for professional practice. The coordinators also reviewed students’ attendance and commitment to the training schedule, emphasizing the importance of regular attendance and daily practical performance assessment as essential components of the training program. In addition, the coordinators listened to the students’ suggestions and addressed their training needs to help overcome any challenges they might encounter. A meeting was also held with the Head of the Continuing Education Unit and the clinical supervisor at the hospital, who praised the commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm demonstrated by Al-Mustaqbal University students, reaffirming their continued cooperation in ensuring the success of the summer training program and achieving its educational objectives.
