The Summer Training Committee of the Department of Dialysis Kidney Techniques, College of Health and Medical Techniques, Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted a field visit on Thursday, 23 July 2026, to Al-Imam Al-Sadiq Teaching Hospital / Dialysis Kidney Unit, in order to follow up on the progress of the summer training program for second-year students. The visit was carried out by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Younis Abdul Ridha Al-Khafaji, accompanied by the Department Coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Zainab Ali Al-Khafaji. This visit was conducted within the Department’s ongoing commitment to monitoring the implementation of the training program and reviewing students’ practical training within healthcare institutions. The visit coincided with the commencement of summer training by a group of department students assigned to the Dialysis Kidney Unit. During the visit, the mechanism for distributing students within the unit was reviewed, and students were introduced to the working environment and healthcare delivery procedures. Emphasis was also placed on the importance of adhering to professional instructions, maintaining professional ethics, and following safety procedures during practical training. In addition, communication was established with the staff responsible for supervising the students’ training in order to review the training plan and its implementation mechanism, and to ensure the provision of an appropriate training environment that fulfills the intended objectives of the training program. This visit forms part of the Department’s efforts to strengthen the integration between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enhance educational outcomes, and align with the University’s vision of preparing qualified healthcare professionals capable of contributing effectively to the healthcare sector in the future.
