Al-Mustaqbal University has launched the practical summer training program for students of the College of Health and Medical Technologies in the Departments of Radiologic Technologies, Anesthesia Technologies, Medical Laboratory Technologies, and Optics Technologies. The training is being conducted at a number of public and private hospitals in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the direct supervision of the College Deanship and the designated academic committees to ensure the achievement of the program’s educational and practical objectives. The launch of the program was accompanied by field visits conducted by academic supervisors to monitor students’ attendance and evaluate the progress of their practical training within healthcare institutions, including Imam Al-Sadiq (PBUH) Teaching Hospital and Babil Private Hospital, in addition to several other hospitals and health centers. The training sites were selected according to a geographical distribution that considered students’ preferences and the proximity of training facilities to their places of residence, helping to facilitate attendance and reduce transportation burdens. The Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, together with the Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, affirmed its commitment to continuous daily follow-up and close coordination with healthcare institutions to provide an integrated training environment and address any challenges that students may encounter throughout the training period, ensuring maximum educational and professional benefit. As part of its continued support for students, Al-Mustaqbal University has undertaken the payment of all summer training fees required by the participating hospitals and healthcare institutions, reaffirming its commitment to providing a supportive educational environment, reducing students’ financial burdens, and enhancing their opportunities to acquire essential clinical experience. The College Deanship also urged all students to report to their assigned training sites on time and adhere strictly to attendance requirements and applicable regulations, emphasizing that failure to commence training or unauthorized absence will be subject to the legal procedures and ministerial regulations in force. The summer training program represents a fundamental component of students’ professional preparation, bridging academic knowledge with practical clinical experience and contributing to the graduation of competent healthcare professionals equipped with the knowledge and skills required to meet the needs of the labor market and serve the healthcare sector and the wider community.
