Prof. Dr. Haider Ali Al-Dulaimi Today, artificial intelligence has become one of the most prominent features of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and one of the most important factors influencing the Al-Mustaqbal of societies and their economies. As its applications expand across various fields, the education sector has emerged as one of the sectors that benefit most from these technologies, due to the advanced capabilities they provide in developing teaching methods, improving the quality of learning, and enhancing the efficiency of educational institutions. From this standpoint, artificial intelligence is no longer discussed merely as a technological development; rather, it has become an essential part of a global vision aimed at building education that is more high-quality, inclusive, and sustainable. Quality education, embodied in the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals, is the cornerstone of human development and the achievement of economic and social progress. Education is no longer limited to the transmission of knowledge; it has become a means of developing skills, fostering creativity, and preparing generations capable of adapting to the rapid changes the world is witnessing. In this context, artificial intelligence contributes to creating a qualitative transformation in the educational process by designing intelligent learning environments that respond to learners’ needs, take into account individual differences among them, and provide educational content that matches their academic levels and abilities. AI applications also help in continuously monitoring students’ progress and providing immediate feedback, which contributes to improving academic achievement and reducing dropout and failure rates. These technologies have also brought about a significant shift in the role of faculty members, as AI tools now provide advanced support in preparing educational materials, designing interactive activities, creating assessments, and analyzing their results. This gives instructors more time to focus on developing critical thinking, enhancing innovation skills, and providing effective academic supervision. The impact of artificial intelligence extends to university administration, where intelligent systems contribute to improving academic planning, resource management, data analysis, and decision-making support, in addition to predicting academic issues before they occur. This enhances institutional performance efficiency and elevates the quality of educational services provided to students. In the field of scientific research, artificial intelligence has become a strategic tool that helps researchers analyze complex data, review scientific production, and discover research patterns and trends. This contributes to improving research quality, accelerating scientific output, and opening new horizons for innovation and knowledge. In line with its vision of leadership and excellence, Future University continues to promote a culture of digital transformation and adopt modern technologies in education and scientific research, in a manner consistent with its institutional vision and the Sustainable Development Goals. The university works to provide an advanced educational environment that leverages the capabilities of artificial intelligence to develop the educational process, enhance digital skills, and prepare graduates who possess the competence and ability to compete in both local and international labor markets. Within this framework, the College of Administrative Sciences plays an important role in spreading awareness of artificial intelligence and its applications in administrative and economic sciences, and in encouraging research that explores the impact of these technologies in management, accounting, financial and banking sciences, and entrepreneurship. This enhances the quality of education, supports innovation, and keeps pace with the requirements of the digital economy. Despite the promising opportunities that artificial intelligence offers, its successful implementation requires investment in developing digital infrastructure, qualifying academic staff, and establishing principles for the responsible and ethical use of these technologies. This ensures academic integrity, protects data privacy, and strengthens trust in educational outcomes. Building a more efficient and inclusive educational system cannot be achieved by technology alone, but through its integration within a strategic vision that places the human being at the center of the development process. When invested in consciously and responsibly, artificial intelligence becomes an effective tool for achieving quality education, preparing generations capable of innovation and creativity, and contributing to building a sustainable knowledge-based economy. Therefore, investing in artificial intelligence is an investment in the Al-Mustaqbal of education, the Al-Mustaqbal of the nation, and in achieving sustainable development that meets the aspirations of present and Al-Mustaqbal generations.
