An advanced training workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Its Applications in Leadership and Decision-Making” was launched on Saturday, July 12, 2026, at Al-Mustaqbal University, under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The workshop was organized by the Center for Continuing Education and attended by the Vice Presidents, College Deans, the Director of the Center for Continuing Education, including Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies. The workshop aims to enhance the capabilities of university leaders in utilizing artificial intelligence technologies to support leadership and decision-making processes, while introducing the latest practical AI applications that contribute to improving institutional performance, strengthening digital transformation, and keeping pace with global developments in artificial intelligence. The workshop program combines in-person and online lectures with specialized hands-on practical sessions delivered by a distinguished group of experts, ensuring participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in applying AI across academic and administrative fields. The workshop is scheduled to continue for five days, following a program prepared by the Center for Continuing Education, with the goal of equipping university leaders with the knowledge and skills required to effectively employ artificial intelligence in higher education and institutional management. This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
