As part of Al-Mustaqbal University's strategy to internationalize higher education and strengthen academic and research collaboration with leading international universities, a high-level academic meeting was held between Al-Mustaqbal University and Istanbul Aydın University, Türkiye. The meeting focused on expanding cooperation between counterpart colleges and enhancing academic and research partnerships with Turkish universities, particularly those affiliated with the European–Asian Universities Union (EURAS). Al-Mustaqbal University was represented by Professor Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the Engineering Technical College, while the Turkish side was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul Aydın University, accompanied by several heads of academic departments. The discussions addressed opportunities to strengthen academic and research cooperation and expand scientific exchange programs between the two institutions. The meeting resulted in a significant strategic agreement under which Istanbul Aydın University will host the Fifth International Conference on the Future of Sustainable Energy in Türkiye. This milestone reflects the conference's growing international reputation and aims to broaden its global reach by bringing together researchers and experts from universities and academic institutions worldwide. The conference will provide an international platform for exchanging knowledge and showcasing the latest research and innovations in sustainable energy, clean technologies, and environmental sustainability. The two sides also discussed the scientific and organizational preparations for the conference, including the formation of joint scientific and organizing committees. In addition, they explored opportunities to expand academic exchange programs and practical training for students in engineering and technical medical disciplines, further strengthening institutional cooperation in education and scientific research. This collaboration is supported by the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, as part of the University's vision to expand its international partnerships and reinforce its active role within the European–Asian Universities Union (EURAS).
