President of Al-Mustaqbal University Continues to Follow the Proceedings of the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva

The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, continued his participation on the third and final day of the AI for Good Global Summit 2026, held at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland, by attending a series of scientific and technical sessions focused on the practical deployment of artificial intelligence technologies. The sessions showcased the latest innovations in smart cities, digital infrastructure, and next-generation networks, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision for digital transformation and innovation. The final day’s program marked a transition from theoretical discussions and AI governance to real-world deployment, featuring specialized sessions and workshops on the application of intelligent technologies in public services, industry, and sustainable mobility. The agenda also highlighted Agentic AI for smart cities, the Citiverse concept that integrates the physical and digital worlds, and the latest developments in connected autonomous vehicles and intelligent transportation networks. The University President also attended the closing sessions of the Kaleidoscope Conference, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), which explored the future of AI-enabled digital infrastructure, including AI-native 5G and 6G networks, digital sovereignty, advanced quantum computing, and next-generation communication networks. In addition, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi participated in the session titled “AI for the Global Majority,” which focused on developing AI solutions tailored to the cultural and economic contexts of developing countries, with the aim of expanding equitable access to emerging technologies and supporting sustainable development. The day’s activities concluded with the final round of the Innovation Factory startup competition, where innovative projects employing artificial intelligence to advance public services and the Sustainable Development Goals were presented. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi emphasized that the summit’s strong focus on practical AI implementation reflects the global shift toward transforming innovation into impactful real-world solutions. He noted that Al-Mustaqbal University is committed to leveraging these international experiences to enhance its academic and research programs and strengthen its initiatives in smart cities, digital infrastructure, and responsible artificial intelligence, reinforcing its position as a leading institution in innovation and digital transformation.
