President of Al-Mustaqbal University Attends Day Three of AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Focusing on Deployment Mechanisms and Smart Cities Geneva — July 10, 2026 Al-Mustaqbal University continued its active participation in the “AI for Good Global Summit,” held at Palexpo in Geneva, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The third and final day of the summit focused entirely on the theme of “access, real-world application, and deployment” of emerging technologies. The closing day featured intensive academic and technological engagement closely followed by the university president, as discussions shifted from theoretical frameworks and governance to practical mechanisms for operating intelligent systems in public services, industry, and sustainable mobility. The program included distinguished workshops addressing the concept of “cities that think and act” through Agentic AI, the integration of digital and physical environments (Citiverse), and a symposium on Al-Mustaqbal connected vehicles within smart transportation networks. Academically, the participation included attending the concluding sessions of the ITU Kaleidoscope Conference, which highlighted enabling infrastructures for artificial intelligence, including software-defined AI-native 5G and 6G networks, as well as issues of digital sovereignty and the latest research in advanced quantum networking. The university president also engaged with strategic discussions during the session titled “AI for the Global Majority,” which focused on developing AI applications sensitive to cultural and economic contexts in developing countries and non-Western environments. The day concluded with the final rounds of the “Innovation Factory” startup support platform, showcasing innovations aligned with sustainable development goals and public service enhancement. In his remarks, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi emphasized that the summit’s focus on “practical implementation” aligns fully with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of transforming academic research into tangible projects that serve society.
