In line with its strategic vision to lead digital transformation and integrate AI technologies into academic and administrative frameworks, Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdy, participated in the prominent "AI for Good Global Summit" held at the Palexpo center in Geneva, Switzerland, today, Wednesday, July 8, 2026. The summit, recognized as the leading global platform for steering technological innovation toward tangible societal impact and achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, gathered an elite global audience of researchers, policymakers, innovators, and tech startup founders. The opening sessions focused on mechanisms to translate academic and laboratory research into practical applications serving the public, commercial, and humanitarian sectors. On the sidelines of the summit, the University President attended the "Kaleidoscope" academic conference organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). This year's conference, themed "AI and Feeder Technologies for Good," expanded to cover quantum computing, brain-machine interfaces, and collaborative robotics. The event also featured the launch of the new "AI Playbook," a framework designed to assist policymakers and academic institutions in scaling technological projects from experimental concepts to full-scale implementation. Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdy emphasized the importance of the modern trends introduced at the summit, particularly in smart agricultural innovation, healthcare, and climate action. He noted that Al-Mustaqbal University prioritizes forging strong international partnerships and supporting responsible AI platforms and digital citizenship. This approach aims to design comprehensive educational curricula that link technical skills with critical thinking and sustainable development dimensions, reinforcing the university's position as a pivotal hub for research innovation.
