Third-year students of the Department of Life Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University commenced their summer training program (the first July cohort) on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Babel Al-Ahli Hospital, under the supervision of the department and in coordination with the hospital administration, as part of the practical training requirements for the academic year. The training program aims to enhance students' practical skills, bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world practice, and equip them with the professional experience required for careers in the healthcare sector. The program includes orientation sessions on the hospital's departments and workflow, training on occupational safety procedures, hands-on experience with medical laboratory equipment, development of laboratory diagnostic skills, sample collection and analysis techniques, and strengthening communication and teamwork skills within a healthcare environment.
