Al-Mustaqbal University signed a joint scientific and cultural cooperation agreement with the University of Baghdad on the sidelines of the Academic Bridge Initiative Forum, in the presence of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, and the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Alaa Abdulhassan, with the aim of strengthening academic and research collaboration and advancing the higher education system in Iraq.
The agreement aims to reinforce the partnership between the two universities, promote the exchange of scientific and academic expertise, and support joint research projects, contributing to the development of the educational environment while keeping pace with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation.
The agreement includes cooperation in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, support for joint scientific research and its publication in internationally recognized journals indexed in global databases, the development of modern educational technologies, the exchange of expertise in training academic staff, administrative personnel, and students, as well as the coordination of academic programs and curricula and the activation of both in-person and virtual knowledge exchange initiatives.
Both parties also emphasized the importance of sustaining this collaboration to enhance the quality of higher education, foster innovation and scientific research, and prepare qualified academic professionals capable of keeping pace with scientific and technological advancements.
This agreement comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University's strategy to expand its academic partnerships with Iraqi and international universities, strengthen institutional excellence, support scientific research, and contribute to achieving sustainable development.
