In line with the College's diligent efforts to advance the educational process and develop practical training programs, and as part of its plans aimed at enhancing the quality of academic and professional outcomes, an extended meeting was held in the Student Activities Hall at the College of Health and Medical Technologies. The meeting brought together the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, heads and coordinators of scientific departments, alongside members of the college's summer training committees.
The meeting witnessed active participation and a prominent presence of representatives from the Department of Optics Technologies, represented by the Department Coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Hassan Farez Abdul Hussein, Assistant Lecturer Samer Hussein Mohammad, and Assistant Lecturer Hamza Nader Abed Aoun.
The meeting commenced with a review of the ministerial regulations and guidelines issued regarding summer training for students of technical and medical colleges, focusing on outlining precise mechanisms for implementing the training program and ensuring its seamless execution. Furthermore, the attendees discussed the criteria for allocating students to appropriate health and training institutions, as well as formulating a comprehensive plan for continuous field follow-ups by academic supervisors to evaluate student performance and monitor their adherence to the approved training curriculum.
During the meeting, the Deanship of the College of Health and Medical Technologies emphasized its profound commitment to establishing an integrated training environment in cooperation with various healthcare institutions. This environment aims to hone students' skills and enable them to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world work settings, thereby contributing to elevating the quality of outcomes and qualifying technical personnel capable of excellence and innovation.
In conclusion, the participants stressed that this meeting aligns with the directives of Al-Mustaqbal University Presidency to develop the practical aspect of academic curricula, ensuring enhanced student readiness to join the labor market immediately upon graduation and actively contribute to supporting the healthcare sector with advanced, qualitative expertise.
