Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the National Workshop on the Quality of Bologna Process Implementation, hosted by Al-Noor University in Mosul, in the presence of Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahad, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, with the participation of presidents of public and private universities, their assistants, and a distinguished group of international experts and specialists in higher education development.
Representing Al-Mustaqbal University at the workshop were Assistant Professor Dr. Amin Mohammed Kitab, Assistant Dean of the Engineering Technical College, and Dr. Riyadh Hamed, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, reflecting the University's commitment to advancing academic quality and keeping pace with international best practices in higher education.
The workshop was organized as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to enhance the quality of Bologna Process implementation across Iraqi universities by promoting the exchange of expertise and benefiting from successful international experiences. These efforts aim to improve academic programs, enhance learning outcomes, and meet European standards for academic accreditation.
The workshop featured specialized scientific sessions addressing the current status of Bologna Process implementation in Iraqi higher education institutions, the challenges associated with its application, external evaluation mechanisms, and successful international experiences in academic policy development and quality assurance, with contributions from leading international experts.
The event witnessed productive academic engagement among participants through the exchange of ideas and experiences and discussions on effective approaches to improving higher education systems, enhancing academic performance, and raising the quality of educational programs in Iraqi universities.
Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at advancing higher education and adopting modern academic and administrative systems that contribute to improving educational quality and fulfilling international accreditation requirements.
