Al-Mustaqbal University Participates in the National Workshop on Quality Implementation of the Bologna Process

In the presence of the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hayder Abed Dhahad, and with wide participation from presidents and vice presidents of public and private universities, Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the specialized national workshop on the "Quality Implementation of the Bologna Process." The workshop was hosted by Al-Noor University in the city of Mosul, featuring a select group of international experts and higher education development specialists. Al-Mustaqbal University was officially represented at the event by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ameen Mohammed Kittab, Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, and Dr. Riyadh Hamed, Director of the Quality Assurance and Institutional Performance Department.The workshop aligns with the strategic efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance the quality of the Bologna Process application across Iraqi universities. By leveraging global expertise and exchanging best practices, the initiative aims to elevate the standard of academic programs and align learning outcomes with European standards and academic accreditation requirements.The event featured specialized scientific sessions that evaluated the current implementation of the Bologna Process in Iraqi universities, its challenges, and external evaluation mechanisms. It also reviewed successful international experiences in developing academic policies and educational quality assurance. Al-Mustaqbal University’s participation reflects its institutional commitment to keeping pace with global educational advancements, upgrading its registration and academic frameworks, and solidifying its leading position nationally and internationally.
