The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, chaired an expanded meeting to review the final preparations for the Summer Program, which aims to make effective use of the summer break through a range of training and development activities targeting faculty members, staff, and students, in addition to launching community initiatives that support the university’s role in community service and sustainable development. The meeting addressed the program’s implementation plans and coordination mechanisms among the university’s centers and departments to ensure efficient execution and maximize its impact, in line with the university’s vision of enhancing academic and professional skills while strengthening community engagement. During the meeting, the University President emphasized that innovation and international partnerships represent two fundamental pillars of the university’s future strategy. He stressed the importance of leveraging cooperation agreements with leading international universities in areas such as scientific research, joint conferences, academic mobility, and international accreditation. He also highlighted the need to direct scientific and research efforts toward addressing societal challenges and supporting institutions through knowledge-based solutions, thereby reinforcing the university’s role as a center of expertise and knowledge production that actively contributes to development at both the local and international levels. The meeting was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, as well as directors of centers and departments within the university presidency.
