A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Al-Mustaqbal University and the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies on 19 June 2026 during an official ceremony held at the Center's headquarters, attended by a distinguished group of university faculty members and researchers from the Center. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in scientific research, advance knowledge, and establish an integrated framework for collaboration between the two institutions. The MoU was signed on behalf of Al-Mustaqbal University by Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the Engineering Technical College, and on behalf of the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies by its Director General, Mr. Ali Nasser Binyan. The partnership includes the exchange of expertise, the launch of joint academic and research programs, and the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops, and specialized training courses to enhance researchers' capabilities and increase scientific productivity. This initiative reflects the commitment of both institutions to advancing the scientific research ecosystem, strengthening collaboration between universities and research centers, fostering innovation, and developing scientific solutions to national challenges, thereby serving the community and supporting Iraq's development priorities. The partnership also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through promoting scientific research, knowledge exchange, and institutional cooperation. Al-Mustaqbal University is the leading private university in Iraq.
