Al-Mustaqbal University President Chairs Meeting to Review Summer Program Preparations and Emphasizes the Importance of Innovation and International Partnerships in Supporting Development
The Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University held an expanded meeting on June 15, 2026, chaired by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of the University, with the participation of the Scientific Assistant and the directors of centers and departments at the university presidency. The meeting aimed to finalize preparations for the Summer Program, which includes a comprehensive package of training and development activities for faculty members, staff, and students, in addition to a range of community initiatives aligned with the university’s mission of serving society and promoting sustainable development.
The meeting discussed mechanisms for activating the role of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship by supporting creative ideas and promising initiatives proposed by students and researchers and transforming them into practical projects that contribute to economic development while fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship both within and beyond the university.
During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and integrating the roles of all academic and administrative units to ensure the success of the program and the achievement of its objectives. He also stressed the need to maximize the benefits of the university’s international partnerships with leading global universities through joint programs in scientific conferences, workshops, collaborative research, international academic accreditation, and academic mobility for both students and faculty members.
The meeting also addressed ways to strengthen the university’s academic and research standing by supporting high-impact initiatives and development programs that contribute to building a productive and influential university environment at both local and international levels, in line with the university’s vision and future strategic plans.
As part of the university’s commitment to community engagement, the President highlighted the importance of utilizing scientific research and academic expertise to address challenges facing various sectors across the governorate through specialized studies, workshops, and continuous cooperation with public and private institutions. These efforts further reinforce the university’s role as a center of expertise, knowledge production, and sustainable development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President listened to the participants’ remarks and proposals and provided a number of recommendations and directives aimed at improving implementation mechanisms and enhancing the effectiveness of the activities and programs planned for the summer period.
Through these preparations, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to investing the summer break in developing academic and research capabilities, enhancing skills, strengthening community engagement, and promoting innovation and international partnerships in support of sustainable development.
