Al-Mustaqbal University Enhances Academic Accreditation Culture Through a Specialized Institutional Quality Workshop

Enhanced Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, the culture of academic accreditation and institutional quality by organizing a specialized workshop on the occasion of the World Accreditation Day on June 10, 2026, at the Activities Hall of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, with the participation of Quality Assurance and University Performance Division Directors from the university’s colleges. The workshop was led by Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, who presented the latest local and international trends in academic and institutional accreditation and highlighted the role of quality systems in achieving academic sustainability and enhancing university performance in accordance with national and international standards. The workshop featured scientific and interactive discussions focusing on the importance of accreditation as a strategic tool for continuous improvement, mechanisms for utilizing accreditation outcomes to enhance the quality of education, learning, scientific research, and university services, as well as reviewing institutional best practices that strengthen the readiness of academic programs and educational institutions for various accreditation requirements. The workshop was organized to renew commitment to a culture of excellence and quality, support institutional development efforts, and reinforce the principles of good governance and institutional innovation, contributing to the development of an integrated academic system capable of achieving the highest standards of quality and accreditation at both local and international levels.
