Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, the University organized its First Alumni Forum for 2026 under the theme “Alumni: Partners in Success and Makers of the Future.” The event was held at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the Continuing Education Center at the Al-Qadiya Campus, in the presence of Professor Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Professor Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies. The forum was attended by a large number of alumni, representatives from government institutions and the private sector, as well as faculty members, directors of university centers, and administrative departments. The forum was organized as part of the University’s strategy to strengthen sustainable communication with its alumni and reinforce an active partnership with them, recognizing them as one of the University’s greatest assets and a key source of support for its academic and developmental mission. The initiative also aims to expand opportunities for collaboration and professional networking with labor market institutions. In his opening remarks, Professor Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi emphasized that the University’s alumni represent the true extension of its academic mission and that their professional and scientific achievements reflect the quality of the educational environment provided by Al-Mustaqbal University. He reaffirmed the University’s commitment to supporting its graduates through professional development programs and strategic partnerships that enhance their employment opportunities and enable them to contribute effectively to society. The forum featured presentations highlighting initiatives and programs that support graduates in entrepreneurship and industrial development, delivered by representatives from both the public and private sectors. In addition, Professor Eman Abdul Aziz, Director of the Qualification and Employment Division at the University Presidency, presented Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision and future plans for qualification, employment, and skills development in line with the evolving demands of the labor market. Participants stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between universities and various employment sectors, praising the academic excellence and professional competencies demonstrated by Al-Mustaqbal University students and graduates. The forum also showcased inspiring success stories of alumni who have achieved remarkable academic and professional accomplishments across different fields. It further highlighted outstanding young graduates who joined the University’s academic and administrative staff due to their exceptional performance, reflecting the University’s commitment to attracting talented individuals and investing in its graduates. The event concluded with a guided tour of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and the Continuing Education Center, where guests and alumni explored the University’s state-of-the-art laboratories, technologies, and services dedicated to supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, scientific research, and community engagement. At the conclusion of the forum, Al-Mustaqbal University affirmed that this event represents an important step toward building a strong and sustainable alumni network, strengthening communication with graduates, and benefiting from their expertise and experiences to support the University’s development and enhance its academic and professional programs.
