Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized workshop on the occasion of World Accreditation Day on 9/6, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, with the participation of the heads of Quality Assurance and University Performance divisions across the university’s colleges. This workshop comes within the university’s ongoing efforts to consolidate the culture of quality and academic and institutional accreditation, and to enhance sound administrative and academic practices, in line with national and international trends aimed at improving the quality of higher education and achieving institutional excellence. The workshop was opened with a speech emphasizing the importance of academic and institutional accreditation as one of the fundamental pillars for ensuring the quality of university performance and achieving continuous improvement, stressing the need to develop systems and procedures that enhance the university’s local and international standing. The workshop included several scientific sessions addressing the latest trends in academic and institutional accreditation, the role of quality systems in achieving academic sustainability, as well as discussing mechanisms for utilizing accreditation outcomes to improve the quality of teaching, learning, scientific research, and university services. The sessions were delivered by Dr. Riyadh Hamed Salman, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, who presented a range of institutional practices and experiences that contribute to enhancing the readiness of academic programs and the educational institution for various accreditation requirements, in addition to providing scientific and applied insights that support institutional development. This event is part of a series of activities and initiatives implemented by Al-Mustaqbal University to promote a culture of quality and institutional excellence, and to strengthen the principles of good governance and continuous improvement, contributing to achieving the highest standards of quality and accreditation at both the local and international levels.
