The Department of Medical Rehabilitation Technologies and Physical Therapy held an online scientific seminar for first-year students entitled: “The Future of Medical Rehabilitation Technologies and Physical Therapy and Their Role in Improving Quality of Life” The seminar was held on Saturday, 6/6, under the supervision and presentation of Dr. Zaid Saad Abdul Madi. The activity aimed to introduce students to the importance of medical rehabilitation technologies and physical therapy, and their role in improving individuals’ quality of life by restoring functional and motor abilities and reducing the effects of various injuries and diseases. It also highlighted the most prominent recent developments in the field, including the use of artificial intelligence, rehabilitation robotics, virtual reality, and tele-rehabilitation, as well as their impact on improving and developing therapeutic and rehabilitation services. The seminar also discussed the future of the profession, along with the challenges and opportunities available for students in this specialization, emphasizing the importance of keeping up with modern scientific and technological advancements to enhance professional practice and achieve the best therapeutic outcomes for patients. The event witnessed active engagement and notable participation from first-year students through scientific discussions, questions, and inquiries, which contributed to strengthening their academic and professional awareness of their specialization and its promising future in the healthcare sector.
