Al-Mustaqbal University, the number one university in Iraq, has received the Excellence in Education Award from the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) in recognition of its institutional excellence, leadership in implementing quality assurance and academic accreditation standards, and its continuous efforts to advance higher education in line with international best practices.
This international recognition reflects the university’s distinguished academic standing at both regional and global levels, achieved through its ongoing success in education, scientific research, and university administration, as well as its commitment to a strategic vision based on innovation, sustainability, and institutional excellence.
Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, stated that this achievement represents an important milestone in the university’s journey toward global recognition and serves as international acknowledgment of its accomplishments in education, research, and community service. He also emphasized the university’s commitment to further developing its educational environment and expanding academic partnerships and collaborations with leading international institutions.
This achievement aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through strengthening higher education quality and fostering international academic cooperation.
