The Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department at Al-Mustaqbal University conducted an electronic scientific workshop on May 19, 2026, entitled “The Legal Implications Arising from the Activities of Cosmetic Centers.” The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Jasim, the Department Rapporteur, with the participation of a number of department students. The workshop aimed to highlight the legal aspects associated with the activities of cosmetic centers and to familiarize students with the rights, obligations, and legal responsibilities governing this field. It sought to enhance their legal and professional awareness and prepare them for the requirements of the labor market. The workshop included a review of the most important laws and regulations related to cosmetic centers, a discussion of the legal consequences arising from professional practices, and an explanation of the importance of compliance with applicable legislation and regulations to ensure the provision of safe and professional services within approved legal frameworks. This workshop was organized as part of the Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department's commitment to developing students’ knowledge and strengthening their legal awareness, in line with the vision of Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, to provide an integrated educational environment that contributes to preparing scientifically and professionally qualified graduates. The activity supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. At the conclusion of the workshop, the presenter emphasized the importance of understanding the legal dimensions of the profession due to their vital role in promoting sound professional practice and protecting both practitioners and beneficiaries within the cosmetic sector.
