Under the patronage and guidance of the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, the Guidance and Counseling Committee in the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, launched an awareness campaign aimed at reducing negative behaviors within the university campus, particularly smoking. The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures and the placement of educational posters throughout the university corridors. These materials highlighted the dangers of smoking and its harmful effects on students’ health and the university community, with the objective of promoting health awareness and encouraging positive behavior among students. This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote a healthy culture and a safe university environment, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being).
