The Council of the College of Health and Medical Technologies held its 10th meeting, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, along with the heads of the scientific departments who are members of the Council. The meeting was held to discuss a range of academic and administrative issues aimed at enhancing institutional performance and improving the quality of work within the college.
The session included discussions and follow-up on programmatic accreditation requirements, as well as reviewing the progress made in implementing approved academic standards. This aligns with the university’s and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directives to improve the quality of educational programs and achieve accreditation and quality standards.
The Council also addressed the progress of the first-round final examinations and monitored the organizational and administrative procedures related to the examination process, ensuring an appropriate examination environment for students and maintaining the highest levels of discipline and transparency.
In addition, the meeting discussed several topics related to the development of the educational process, the enhancement of academic and administrative performance, and the strengthening of plans aimed at improving educational outcomes and providing a university environment that supports excellence and creativity.
During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of adhering to university and ministerial directives and working in a team spirit to achieve the college’s goals and strategic plans. She also stressed the need to integrate efforts among the scientific departments to enhance the quality of education and achieve academic and institutional excellence.
These regular meetings come as part of the Dean’s commitment to monitoring various academic and administrative aspects and supporting continuous development in line with the vision of Al-Mustaqbal University and its aspirations toward leadership and excellence.
