Al-Mustaqbal University, the first among private universities in Iraq, launched on 31/5/2026 the “Future Innovator” competition for undergraduate students as part of its initiative aimed at supporting student creativity and innovation. The competition aims to develop students’ abilities to produce applicable innovative ideas and projects that contribute to addressing societal and developmental challenges, particularly in the fields of health technologies, artificial intelligence, smart agriculture, smart cities, engineering, and industrial innovation. Submissions are evaluated by a specialized judging committee of university professors and private-sector experts according to approved academic and scientific criteria. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
