College of Health and Medical Technologies Honors a Distinguished Group of Sustainability Ambassadors

The College of Health and Medical Technologies honored a distinguished group of Sustainability Ambassadors by awarding them certificates of appreciation under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, Dean of the College, and in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, in recognition of their outstanding efforts and active participation in extracurricular activities, as well as scientific and humanitarian events both within and outside the College. This recognition comes in appreciation of the students’ contributions to supporting scientific and volunteer initiatives, their active participation in various university events, including the Fourth Al-Mustaqbal International Week, and their role in promoting a culture of sustainability and raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals among students and the wider community. During the ceremony, the Dean of the College emphasized the importance of supporting student talents and encouraging meaningful initiatives that contribute to building students’ personalities and enhancing their scientific and leadership skills. She also praised the students’ commitment and sense of responsibility demonstrated through their participation in activities and projects with a positive social impact. The recognition highlighted the students’ efforts in volunteer and humanitarian work, their contributions to organizing and implementing scientific and awareness-raising activities, and their role in promoting sustainability concepts and increasing community awareness of environmental and developmental issues. The College Administration further noted that such initiatives represent a distinguished model of effective student engagement and contribute to preparing a conscious generation capable of creating positive change and serving society, in line with the College’s mission and its academic and humanitarian objectives. This recognition is part of the College’s ongoing efforts to support outstanding students, encourage them to continue their creativity and dedication, and reinforce the values of teamwork and community-oriented initiatives, thereby strengthening their role in serving society and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
