The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, received Mr. Makki Hadi Imran, Director of the Babylon Environment Directorate, at his office in a visit that reflected the strong partnership between academic and environmental institutions and provided an opportunity to extend congratulations on his recent appointment. During the meeting, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, on behalf of himself and the entire university community, conveyed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Makki Hadi Imran on the issuance of Ministerial Order No. (M.W./275/9/3), dated May 6, 2026, assigning him the duties of Director General of the Environmental Protection and Improvement Department for the Middle Euphrates Region. The University President emphasized that this appointment is a well-deserved recognition of Mr. Imran’s professional competence, extensive experience, and dedicated efforts in the environmental sector. He expressed confidence in his ability to achieve further accomplishments that will contribute to strengthening environmental sustainability and protection efforts across the Middle Euphrates governorates. The meeting also explored opportunities to enhance cooperation between Al-Mustaqbal University and the General Directorate of Environmental Protection and Improvement, particularly in the fields of environmental sustainability, scientific research, and community awareness.
