The Council of Al-Mustaqbal University, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, hosted a delegation of students who participated in the International Training and Cultural Exchange Program held at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) in the Republic of Türkiye.
During the meeting, the students presented highlights of their participation in the training program titled “Green Steps for Youth – A Shared Future,” which took place in Alanya from April 24 to May 2, 2026. The program brought together students and young participants from various educational institutions and featured a series of workshops and field activities focusing on environmental sustainability, community awareness, and cultural exchange between Iraqi and Turkish youth.
Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi praised the students’ distinguished performance and representation of the university throughout the program, emphasizing Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to engaging its students in reputable international initiatives that enhance their academic, leadership, and cultural competencies. He further noted that the collaboration with ALKU aligns with the university’s strategy of expanding international partnerships and strengthening its global academic presence in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The participating students expressed their sincere appreciation to the university leadership for providing this valuable international opportunity, which enriched their academic knowledge, broadened their cultural perspectives, and contributed significantly to their personal and professional development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the University Council encouraged the students to share the knowledge and experiences gained during the program with their peers, enabling them to serve as ambassadors of positive change, innovation, and sustainable development within the university community and beyond.
