The Council of Al-Mustaqbal University held its ninth session for the 2025–2026 academic year under the chairmanship of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with the attendance of council members, the Scientific and Academic Supervisor, and directors of the research centers and the Continuing Education Center. The meeting was convened as part of the university’s commitment to strengthening institutional governance and advancing its academic and administrative development plans. The session commenced with a welcoming address by the University President, who emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation with international universities and academic institutions with which the university has signed memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements. He stressed the need to transform these agreements into effective academic and scientific programs and projects that serve shared interests and strengthen the university’s presence at both regional and international levels. The meeting also hosted a group of students from the university’s colleges who recently participated in a training program at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, in recognition of their outstanding performance and distinguished representation of Al-Mustaqbal University. Their participation reflected the academic competence, cultural awareness, and professionalism of the university’s students in international settings. The University President noted that this participation represents an important step in the university’s efforts to internationalize higher education and expand global academic cooperation. He described the experience as a successful model that can be further developed through similar programs with other international universities, contributing to the enhancement of students’ academic, professional, and cultural skills. He also expressed his appreciation for the participating students, commending their discipline, exemplary conduct, and positive representation of Al-Mustaqbal University throughout the training program. In another key discussion point, the University President stressed the importance of developing and continuously updating the websites of the university’s colleges and centers, describing them as the institution’s primary gateway to local and international communities and an essential platform for showcasing academic achievements, activities, and the university’s modern institutional identity. Regarding midterm examinations, he emphasized the need to provide an appropriate and supportive environment for students and to ensure the smooth and organized conduct of the examination process in accordance with approved regulations and guidelines. He further highlighted the importance of ensuring that examination outcomes accurately reflect the knowledge and skills acquired by students in their respective fields of study. At the conclusion of the session, the University Council reviewed the items listed on the agenda and adopted a number of decisions and recommendations aimed at supporting the university’s development and achieving its strategic objectives, in line with its vision of advancing the quality of education, scientific research, and community service.
